Paul earned his Ph.D. from INSEAD in Operations Management. From there he spent 4 years as an Assistant Professor at ESSEC in France, and then over 10 years at CEU — both considered among the top 10 MBA programs in Europe. Dr. Lacourbe is also a skilled speaker on the Tedx stage.

Previously a leader of R&D and researcher at Rosetta Stone, Alexie holds an M.A from New York University and an A.B. from Harvard University. She is an entrepreneur and Co-founder of Valar, its sister institution Quantic School of Business and Technology, and both institutions’ parent company, Pedago, which was named one of Inc.’s 5000 fastest-growing companies in 2024.

Academic Advisor

In addition to his role on the Valar and Quantic Academic Advisory Board, Michael is the co-founder and distinguished fellow of the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation, a non-profit think tank, and teaches at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Michael serves as an executive editor at Education Next, and his work has been featured in outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, Harvard Business Review, and NBC.

Librarian

Before joining as Quantic’s Librarian, Kristina was a content strategist and UX researcher for the University of Southern California and taught in the Master of Management in Library and Information Science program at USC Marshall School of Business. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Stanford University and her Master of Information and Library Science from the University of British Columbia.
